Canadians for Proportional Representation
By Michael Vaillancourt on 5 February 2010 - 9:13am
Please join Canadians For Proportional Representation (C4PR) on Facebook and invite your Facebook friends to show your support for and discuss PR. Note that C4PR is non-partisan, and posts containing party advertising will be removed. Here is the group description:
A place to respectfully discuss and support moving Canada away from the present first-past-the-post system of electing our government representatives, towards a more democratic and socially inclusive Proportional Representation system.
This group was started by members of Canadians Against Proroguing Parliament (CAPP) in hopes of keeping that energy moving and focused on making Canada's government more accountable, transparent and democratic.

The C4PR Facebook group is a fantastic idea, but Fair Vote Canada is the place to go if you want to put some dollars behind your desire for proportional representation. FVC tables events and promotes PR in the real world - every little bit counts. Membership is only $10.
