Robin Gosse, son of Vivian and Reverend Lorne Gosse, was born and raised in Western Newfoundland, and has resided in Corner Brook for over ten years. He currently resides with his fiancé, Anne Quigley in the heart of Corner Brook. He is a student at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in Psychology, pursuing a double-minor in Sociology and Religious Studies with two years left to his degree. He intends to pursue graduate studies in Psychology and follow his childhood dreams of being a therapist, while working towards his Ph.D. in Psychology.
Among his most passionate interests are writing and his ecovillage project. The Tir Tairngire Ecovillage has been a dream of Robin's for half his life. He dreams of creating an intentional community on his family's eighteen hectares of land which can be sustained by permaculture farming, wind turbine power generation, and a back-to-the-earth mentality. Some goals of the project include incorporating technology such as high-speed Internet and energy efficient appliances to make life more comfortable and productive.
Robin Gosse is the Green Party of Canada's candidate for the riding of Humber St. Barbe Baie Verte.
