Beauce
A graduate in Agronomy from Laval University, Etienne Lessard Doyon has been deeply concerned about our environment since childhood. During his studies, he served two terms as Vice President of Phyto-Sol-a club that aims to give students an opportunity to learn more about their program and field through lectures, visits and experiments. Etienne later moved on to establish a project that worked on the research and development of new tomatoes by conventional hybridization. He is now heavily involved in the Orchid Club of Quebec as a board member and newsletter editor.
Etienne’s family has been established in Beauce for many generations. Patrick Doyon, his maternal grandfather was the owner of Doyon jewelry store in Beauceville and William Lessard, his paternal grandfather, was mayor of Beauceville.
Etienne has a pragmatist environmental vision. He believes it is a necessity to work towards a future where all companies maintain a healthy environment that will lead us towards a stronger and equal economy.
Etienne Doyon Lessard is the nominated candidate for The Green Party of Canada in the riding of Beauce.
