Chambly - Borduas
Nicholas was
born in Montreal and spent his childhood and adolescence in media art and
music. He is also a saxophonist for the Philharmonic
St-Hyacinthe orchestra.
Activist for nearly 20 years. He made his "debut" in 1990 at St Lawrence College, where he
was a radio student - by creating a student movement against sending Canadian
troops in the Persian Gulf.
Over time, Nicholas became the
leader of a local section of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, President
of the Student Association of Arts from the University of Hull, representative
of the General Association of Students and part of the Federation of Students
at The University of Quebec.
Nicholas has also co-founded a
publishing comic strip, whose mission is to be the voice for struggling,
emerging artists.
Throughout his studies, he has gained
great knowledge of the arts. He has become a publisher
and has organized several events for the promotion and enhancement of all forms
of art.
Nicholas currently holds a position
in the entertainment field for the City of Chambly. He
was a candidate in the last provincial election for the Green Party in the riding of Chambly.
His political interests are to
enable people to take charge of their destiny at the local level. Giving people the tools to enable them to fulfill their desire to
protect their immediate environment.
Through meetings he has had with the
citizens of his district, he has found a common goal in the environment and politics: everyone wants to leave behind the world in better condition in which it was given to us.
Nicholas Lescarbeau is the nominated candidate for the Green Party of Canada in the riding of Chambly - Borduas.
