Pierre Tremblay
Originally from Saguenay, Pierre Tremblay is an environmentalist. He is the founder and President of the riding of St. John for The Green Party of Canada since 2006 and has been interested in the environmental movement since the 1980s.
He graduated from the University of Montréal and holds a Masters degree in economics. He has worked in the publishing world in Canada, leading various projects for the largest publishing houses in Québec and Canada.
Since 1995, he has specialized in international trade and commerce platforms operating a wholesale import and serving major companies here in Canada. His numerous trips to Asia, North America and Europe enabled him to develop, in a globalized world, and gain extraordinary knowledge of the Asian and European world.
Alongside the economy and politics, his interests are in sports, music, history and philosophy. Born in 1956, Pierre Tremblay has been married since 2003 and is a father of 3 children. His decision to enter politics was based on his desire to ensure a harmonious future for his family.
