Terrebonne - Blainville
Michel Paulette wants to be a candidate for this general election because he believes that we are ready for the type of governance which is representative of our true values. He believes that the Green Party has the maturity and the ability to bring about the type of governance that the people of this country want.
The practical and reasonable policies of the Green Party will work here because they have also worked internationally. Countries where Greens were voted into power have good paying jobs, and yet are also able to meet greenhouse gases (GHGs) global emissions reduction targets.
Their standard of living is high and the disparity between the rich and the poor is small. These countries don’t compromise their environment to the economy. Their economies are vigorous and their environmental laws rigorous.
Michel wants to be part of those who will propose and put into effect these changes! He also, would like to convince everyone of the importance of our ability to VOTE!
Over the years, Michel has organized different types of events, some bigger than others, and have promoted the importance of entrepreneurial endeavours. He has raised, trained and showed horses, taught scuba-diving in Europe and the West-Indies, worked in the oil fields of Alberta and northern B.C., has become a self taught computer specialist, but mainly, Michel has worked on, and tried to influence issues which are believed to be of prime importance to all of us. He believes that our families, the central role of individuals in our economic systems, and the way we manage our environment are key issues for all of us who aspire to have peace, harmony and respect as determining values in our lives and society.
Michel Paulette is the nominated candidate for the riding of Terrebonne - Blainville.
