Cora Carriveau is an environmental geoscientist working for a national consulting firm.  During her career, she has worked as an environmental consultant and for conservation authorities with the goal of restoring contaminated lands and promoting a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of society’s actions and the environment. Cora currently serves as the volunteer Chair of the Mentoring Committee for the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO). She has a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Environmental Science (1999) and a Master’s of Civil and Environmental Engineering (2002) from the University of Western Ontario.

Since moving to Windsor in 2005, Cora has been active in her community by joining the board of directors for the Windsor-Essex Habitat for Humanity Affiliate. During the last five years, Cora has also seen the slow decline of Windsor’s economy and the devastating effects to its community.  She gladly supports the Green Party platform as a holistic, long- term approach to revitalizing this community’s economy and social well-being.

Cora is married and has a daughter. She and her family enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, and biking.
