Cnews: Carbon conundrum
Par Russell McOrmond le 13 Juillet 2007 - 11:30am
An interesting CANOE article that features Elizabeth May vs. Tom Harris on carbon taxes. Tom doesn't argue that green tax shifts are a bad idea, and agrees they are appropriate when the "environmental benefit to society exceeds the financial penalty of the tax". His entire argument was based on being a layperson who denies the science behind climate change, and thus the environmental benefit of reducing CO2.
