Membership Contest 2010

It’s back, and better than ever: the GPC’s summer membership contest! We have five registrations for the BGM in Toronto in August, two meals cooked for your EDA by Elizabeth May, and a host of smaller prizes to give away. You heard it right: Chef du Parti Elizabeth May will make your dinner.  

We don’t need to tell you that the benefits of increasing your EDA’s membership are much greater than the prizes you can win. Members are the lifeblood of the Green Party of Canada: they develop policy, elect the Leader, form EDAs, nominate candidates, and campaign in, and before, federal elections. With more members, your EDA will have a stronger team, more people at events, a better financial base, and more campaigners. And a membership drive is a great activity for EDAs – it brings you together, helps you connect with supporters, and can be an excellent excuse for pizza.

Points will be given for net membership growth. Prizes will be awarded at two-week intervals, starting June 15th, with the grand prize winners announced at the beginning of August. See the pages listed below for more info about how the numbers work, about prizes, and about, and about deadlines.
