Rules, definitions, and deadlines

Points are awarded for net membership growth. A new member earns you one point. A lapsed member earns you minus one point. A renewed membership has a value of 0. We will not display EDAs that have no or negative net growth.

A renewed membership is defined as a membership that has already lapsed or will lapse on or before July 31, 2010, and is renewed during the period of the contest.

A lapsed membership is defined as one that expires within the contest period (June 1-July 31, 2010), and is not renewed.

A new membership is defined as one that is held by a person who has never before held a GPC membership, or who has not held a membership in the GPC for at least three years prior to acquiring the new membership.

Deadlines: for each prize, including the grand prize, membership forms that are mailed must be postmarked on or before the end day of the prize interval. These are June 15, June 30, July 15, and July 31. Memberships entered on line will be accepted up to midnight of the deadline day.

Don't count for you

I asked the same question and it was deemed that only those within your district count.

This statement is purely my own opinion and no way is to be mistaken for the viewpoints of the party

New Membership Drive

While I love contests, I have contacts and friends all over the country.  If the "powers that be" feel that only members from our own district count, my focus will still be to try to attract members that will become "committed" members and hopefully "active" within the party.  One of these usually equals up to 25-30 "names".
