Administrative Assistant – Research & Operations
To provide general administrative assistance to the Research & Operations Team, specifically as it relates to the preparations of Candidates’ Packages during a Federal General Election Campaign.
- To prepare GPC Information Packages for Candidates both in “hard copy” for mailings and for online information accessible to Candidates. Specific information pertaining to: Vision Green Booklet; Party Platform; Policy Briefings; Budget; Debate Tips
- To perform other administrative duties as requested from the Research & Operations Team
- Report volunteer work hours on a regular basis
- Commitment to the Six Guiding Principles of the Green Party of Canada.
- Adherence to the Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement
- Must not be a member of another federal political party.
- Good knowledge of computers, specifically word processing, and ability to work with templates used for posting of information to the website
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingualism desired.
Duties to be performed, onsite from the office. Approximately __ hours to complete the overall project of preparing Information Packages for Candidates. General administrative support duties performed approximately one day per week or more as required to meet the ongoing demands of the Research & Operations Team.
Orientation to the GPC provided by Coordinator, Volunteer Resources. Specific training for the role provided by designated staff member from the Research & Operations Team.
