  • Creativity and effectiveness in communicating your message
  • Production Quality
  • Including the theme ‘Vote Green’
  • Sticking to the guidelines
  • Online popularity

Prize—The winning video will be featured on the Green Party’s homepage and in a press release!!!

Judges

John Dunsworth: Canadian actor known for playing Jim Lahey on the hit TV show Trailer Park Boys.

Shelley Thompson: Canadian actress best known for her character Barbara Lahey on the hit Canadian mockumentary program Trailer Park Boys.

Janet Hawkwood:  Independent filmmaker who teaches full time in the Screen Arts Program at the Nova Scotia Community College, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Neal Livingston: Founder of Black River Productions Limited.  Livingston is a filmmaker, director and producer with a long filmmaking history.

Mike Harilaid: Owner of Black Walk Productions which produced Phil the Alien, the surprise hit of the 2004 Toronto International Film Festival.

Claude William Genest: Creator, producer and host of the television series Regeneration: The Art of Sustainable Living, which was nominated for an Emmy Award.  Claude is also Deputy Leader of the Green Party and a Professor teaching Permaculture and Whole-Systems Design for the University of Vermont.
