Prioritization voting is now complete and the results have been tabulated. These results will inform the order in which proposals are considered at our General Meeting this November.
Policy Proposal Timeline
Welcome to the 2020-2022 GPC policy development process. As Greens, we are known for being a grassroots organization, and this includes the policy process. The policies we champion during elections and in Parliament are written and voted on by members.
Proposal submissions were open from October 4th to November 30th, 2020. The editing stage began in February and concluded at the end of May 2021. The amendment stage took place between May 31st and June 18th, 2021. Prioritization voting closed on August 11th.
Prioritization vote: July 12th to August 11th
Notification of prioritized results: August 19th
Online Biennial General Meeting: November
Post-BGM membership vote: TBC
