It’s been 100 days since Annamie was elected leader of the Green Party, and she’s already accomplished so much.
- Achieved a historic result in the Toronto-Centre by-election, placing second and capturing a third of the vote in the riding.
- Collaborated and connected with dozens of civil society groups, EDAs, experts, and countless voters to hear their concerns and advice.
- Fought for urgent action on the dual emergencies of COVID-19 and climate change: sounding the alarm on the crisis in long-term care homes, demanding the CRA suspend its CERB repayments from people who applied in good faith and under the rules that existed, championing a green recovery plan, and holding the government to account on many other issues.
In just 100 days, Annamie has established herself on the national and international stage. It’s clear that Canada - and the world - wants to hear what she has to say.
And this is only the beginning. There’s so much more we can do together in the months to come.
