Archbishop Romero was an outspoken advocate for peace and justice for the people of El Salvador; his work aroused the hostility of the right wing government and he was assassinated while saying Mass on March 24, 1980. We honour his life & work by thinking of issues he might address if he was present now.
Everyone is welcome at this ecumenical event. Admission is free. No collection will be taken but there will be a Donation Basket to support projects in Central America and among First Nations in British Columbia.
