Quebec City: Elizabeth May Panelist at Canadian Water Resources Association Congress

Join Elizabeth May at the 62nd Congress of the Canadian Water Resources Association in Quebec City. On June 12th, Elizabeth will participate on a panel that addresses the following question: "Are you in favor or against a department of Water?". Other panelists include:

  • Christine Melnick, Minister of Water Stewardship, Government of Manitoba
  • Thomas Mulcair, NDP MP for Outremont
  • Harvey Mead, former president of Nature Quebec and former Minister of Sustainable Development, Quebec

Where: Hotel Loews Le Concorde, 1225 cours du Général-de-Montcalm, Quebec City

The conference takes place from June 9th to June 12th, 2009, and seeks to bring together academics, experts and representatives of municipal and governmental agencies from all across Canada. The theme of the conference is: “Water quantity and quality: Trends and New Challenges in Water Resources Management”.
