(VICTORIA) – Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada (Saanich – Gulf Islands), prepares for the Globe and Mail Federal Leaders’ Debate tonight in Victoria. May will talk part in the debate via Twitter, despite the Globe’s attempt to exclude her from the discussion.
“Canadians want to hear about issues that matter to them and our partnership with Twitter Canada makes that possible,” said May. “This type of innovative new technology makes it possible for me to respond to debate questions and offer rebuttals in real-time.”
During the debate, May will respond to questions posed by the moderator in real-time through a live Twitter video feed.
