VANCOUVER, BC — After a barnstorming coast-to-coast campaign that clearly identified the climate crisis as the ballot box issue of 2019, Greens are ready to rally. In Vancouver tonight, Dr. David Suzuki and a surprise guest will join Green Party Leader Elizabeth May for a rally.
“Green candidates across the country have run a phenomenal campaign and we’re excited to see the results of all that hard work,” said Green Party Leader Elizabeth May. “We have presented voters with a vision for a better, more just Canada, including the most robust and comprehensive plan to tackle the climate emergency.
“We’ve seen young people around the world striking for the climate, lobbying governments to do something. I urge Canadians to get out and vote for what they believe in on Monday. Every vote counts and sending a contingent of Green MPs to parliament will ensure that concrete action is taken.”
When: Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 7 – 9.30 p.m. (PDT)
Where: Room 211, West Building, 1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver, BC
