Party Commentary
This motion would re-establish the “Living Platform” process using wiki (new window) web site technology to allow members to influence Policy between BGMs. The Party had a Living Platform web site area that used wiki technology to gain public feedback on the Party's Platform for a general election. Platform and Policy are defined in Articles 7.3.10 and 7.3.11 of the Party's Constitution. Motion G10-d06 also seeks to enhance Policy development and submission and would complement this motion. Motion G10-d08 proposes a detailed system that also seeks to influence Policy between BGMs as well as develop and adopt Policy between BGMs.
