OTTAWA – The Green Party of Canada extends warm wishes for a healthy and prosperous new year to all who are celebrating today to mark the beginning of the Year of the Water Tiger.
“The new year is a time for hope and optimism,” said Green Party interim Leader Amita Kuttner, “a time to focus on our post-COVID future and how we can harness our collective strength and courage to build a better future for everyone.
“Although pandemic restrictions might once again rule out the traditional large gatherings associated with this happy event, we know that families and friends will find safe ways to come together and celebrate.
