Andrew Armstrong
Don Valley North
Andrew Armstrong, a restaurant manager and dedicated volunteer, has called Don Valley North home since he was six years old. He is running to encourage sustainable development and growth within the community, ensuring that Don Valley North remains a vibrant and prosperous home for generations to come. In both his work and daily life, Andrew is passionate about making sure everyone’s voice is heard—no matter who they are, where they come from, or what they believe in.
Andrew has extensive experience volunteering with youth programs in the community, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and youth sports organizations in Don Valley North and beyond. His involvement has given him insight into the challenges young people face today. He understands that youth are facing an uncertain future and that the government must listen to their concerns, ensuring that future generations have fair access to the resources and opportunities needed to both survive and thrive.
Andrew is also proud to have been a Green champion in the workplace, participating in key environmental initiatives and partnerships with organizations such as the Audubon Society to help protect wildlife for future generations.
He believes that the key to a prosperous future lies in environmental sustainability and that the climate emergency must be addressed collectively.
His plan focuses on fairness within the community—it is unacceptable that so many people are living in poverty, and the climate crisis will only make this issue worse. Andrew is committed to protecting both the people and places we all love, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same friendly and safe Don Valley North that residents cherish today.
