Hi, my name is Marshall Dunn. I am a student entering my second year of Software Engineering at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. I’m running in this election to give people an alternative choice and to bring a young person’s perspective to the campaign. I helped my dad (Richard) with his campaign in the 2021 election, and decided to put my name forward as the candidate when he was unable to re-offer.

I’ve lived in Moncton for pretty much my whole life and love to be involved with the community. Growing up, I was involved with groups such as the First St. George Scout Troop and Wild Outside Moncton. I am fluently bilingual, having graduated with a French immersion diploma and a C1-superior level on New Brunswick’s oral proficiency interview. I am a very tech savvy person, indulging in things like my school’s audio visual club and teaching web development and STEAM courses with Brilliant Labs.

I love being outside when I can and cherish our environment. I like to ride around on the riverfront trail with my Onewheel (electric skateboard) and use it to commute to work and school. I’m running with the Green Party because it takes important concepts like respect, diversity, and sustainability seriously, and does not seek to advance its agenda by tearing down others. I don’t consider myself a political person, but want to help build a brighter future for young people like my siblings who are facing a much tougher world than previous generations. I believe the future should be in the hands of the young people who are going to live through it.

What It Means
To Vote Green

  • It means putting communities first. Green MPs have the freedom to vote based on local priorities, not party politics. We stand firmly for Canadian communities and values against all threats.

  • It means fighting for economic fairness. Our plan provides cost-of-living relief for working Canadians while protecting jobs and businesses from economic disruptions.

  • It means building lasting prosperity. Our climate strategy creates good jobs and strong communities that can weather future challenges. We plan for generations, not election cycles.
