I’m a 50-something Canadian who emigrated from Ireland at 9 years of age. In retrospect I have come to appreciate that playing football (soccer) and hockey in my youth offered a tremendously positive opportunity for individual skill development & teamwork in an inclusive & competitive environment.
Professionally, I’m a physical therapist and appreciate the micro- and macro- roles and responsibilities I have in being a care-provider in a dynamic, complex industry. Being a conscientious steward of the land and its resources has been a constant throughout my life.
It is therefore with humility and curiosity that I hope to engage with my constituents to learn how we can improve our collective wellbeing and reduce the loss of biodiversity TODAY, for our families, the planet and for the generations of tomorrow.
