The Young Greens Council is responsible for the governance and operational oversight of the Young Greens of Canada, a unit of the Green Party which includes and represents all members between the ages of 12 and 29. The YGC seeks to ensure the Green Party is aware of and responsive to the unique and diverse needs and priorities of progressive youth in Canada, such that the Greens can stand out as a better option for young voters.
The Young Greens Council meets roughly monthly to discuss the governance, operations, finances, and strategic priorities of the Young Greens. The council as a whole can be contacted at ygc@greenparty.ca.
