OTTAWA – The Green Party of Canada welcomes Cooperate for Canada’s endorsement of Green candidates Paul Manly, Mike Morrice and Elizabeth May as Federal Unity Candidates.

Cooperate for Canada’s mandate is to encourage progressive parties to adopt a cooperative approach. To this end it guides progressive voters in making the right strategic choice to defeat Poilievre’s Conservatives and to ensure progressives continue working together in addressing the challenges Canadians face.

Along with Federal Unity Candidates Paul Manly in Nanaimo-Ladysmith, Mike Morrice in Kitchener Centre and Elizabeth May in Saanich-Gulf Islands, Cooperate for Canada gives Special Consideration Ridings to three additional Green Party candidates:

  • Outremont: The home riding of Green Party co-Leader Jonathan Pedneault.
  • Fredericton-Oromocto: where Pamela Allen-LeBlanc is running in a riding formerly held by the Greens.
  • Guelph: Dr. Anne-Marie Zajdlik, who is also endorsed by Ontario Green Leader and local MPP Mike Schreiner

Cooperate for Canada’s endorsement confirms the polling undertaken by Oracle Research, which, for weeks now, demonstrates that Green candidates are the only ones who can defeat Poilievre’s Conservatives in Nanaimo-Ladysmith and Saanich-Gulf Islands. The Oracle polling data is available.
