The Leader’s Debates Commission created chaos. Voters are confused. Democracy is weaker for it.
The Leader’s Debates Commission is supposed to protect fair debates, but it has done the opposite.
They confirmed the Green Party met the rules. Then they reversed their decision—after pressure from behind the scenes.
The result? Confusion. Our MPs are hearing from voters who now wonder if they can still vote Green.
(Yes, they absolutely can.)
The Commission’s actions are damaging trust. They’ve turned their back on the rules they were supposed to uphold. They’ve silenced a party with two sitting MPs and a long track record in Parliament—while letting known spreaders of misinformation into the debates.
That’s not fairness. That’s a mess.
This isn’t just about the Green Party. It’s about defending democratic debate from backroom interference. If we don’t speak out, this will happen again.
