I am trying my best for Scarborough-Woburn because this diverse community has an opportunity to flourish through the crises of today, and the Green Party has the ideas that will help. I am inspired by Elizabeth May and Jonathan Pedneault calling together for co-operation among the Federal parties to do things that will benefit all.

In particular, to implement the recommendations of the Foreign Interference Commission to better protect against foreign interference in Canada’s democratic institutions and processes. During this election, I pledge to personally co-operate with any inter-party cooperation agreements that Elizabeth and Jonathan make. I also pledge to do my part by communicating in a trustworthy manner. No misinformation or disinformation will come from me.

I look forward to showing Scarborough-Woburn how the Green Party’s vision for healthy communities with clean air and water can make life affordable and enjoyable for everyone. This includes protecting against the devastation brought by climate change.

I join with Elizabeth and Jonathan in expressing my outrage “over a glaring loophole that allows lethal weapons to continue to flow from Canada to Israel despite the March 2024 parliamentary vote to halt such transfers.” Like them, I advocate that “All Palestinians and Israelis, and particularly the children of both nations, are entitled to safety and security. The prolonged Israeli occupation of Palestine—the longest in the modern world—must end completely and immediately, and Palestinian self-determination must be realized.”

I am 65 years old, a mother and a grandmother, and I have had a good life. Through my studies and experience in community and international development and as a teacher, I know that health and modest prosperity can be shared by all while averting climate catastrophe, and the Green Party is showing the way. Forward Together Now!

What It Means
To Vote Green

  • It means putting communities first. Green MPs have the freedom to vote based on local priorities, not party politics. We stand firmly for Canadian communities and values against all threats.

  • It means fighting for economic fairness. Our plan provides cost-of-living relief for working Canadians while protecting jobs and businesses from economic disruptions.

  • It means building lasting prosperity. Our climate strategy creates good jobs and strong communities that can weather future challenges. We plan for generations, not election cycles.
