The future looks bleak. And I have two kids.

But the Green Party has, in its DNA, the bold vision—and the will—to change that future for the better.

I’ve made my living as an actor for over thirty years. I’m also a playwright, filmmaker, and novelist. I hope that my creativity and my experience in collaborative storytelling will be valuable assets in Ottawa.

Beyond performing on stages and screens around the world, I’ve spent the past few years working with fellow creators at Artists for Real Climate Action, where we use satirical filmmaking to highlight the climate emergency. Check us out on YouTube—our web series is called The Big Oil Alliance.

I also volunteer with Meals on Wheels, have been a climate activist since I was 15, and currently serve as a reform councillor in my union, ACTRA, where I work to expand creative autonomy for Canada’s cultural working class.

As a candidate, I am committed to fighting for Spadina–Fort York’s waterfront.
That means:

– Demanding sewer revitalization to prevent increased flooding from sending effluent into Lake Ontario.

– Opposing the MegaSpa project by calling for a full audit of its impact on the international jurisdiction of the Great Lakes.

– Ensuring that, if the project proceeds, it significantly reduces reliance on fossil fuels. What happens to that iron-clad lease when methane becomes prohibitively expensive—or illegal—because it’s killing the planet?

Beyond that, I’ll fight for:
More green space
Better building standards
Affordable housing
Bike lanes and public transit
More green trains
Localized, green power generation
A revitalized arts and culture scene in downtown Toronto

We have the means—and with the Greens, we have the will.

What It Means
To Vote Green

  • It means putting communities first. Green MPs have the freedom to vote based on local priorities, not party politics. We stand firmly for Canadian communities and values against all threats.

  • It means fighting for economic fairness. Our plan provides cost-of-living relief for working Canadians while protecting jobs and businesses from economic disruptions.

  • It means building lasting prosperity. Our climate strategy creates good jobs and strong communities that can weather future challenges. We plan for generations, not election cycles.
