My story begins with my parents, who came to Canada with the hope of building a better life. Growing up in a household where resilience, hard work, and community were at the heart of everything, I learned early on that true strength comes from lifting others up. I was raised to value responsibility, fairness, and compassion—values that have guided me through every stage of my life.
Now, I’m proud to call Azilda my home. Living in this incredible community has deepened my appreciation for the people, the land, and the sense of belonging that makes Northern Ontario so special. Whether it’s supporting local initiatives or simply connecting with neighbors, I’m constantly reminded that real change starts at the community level.
My commitment to helping others extends beyond my professional life. As a responder with 988, I have the privilege of being there for people in moments of crisis—offering support, empathy, and understanding when it’s needed most. This experience has strengthened my dedication to advocating for mental health awareness and accessibility, and it’s a cornerstone of my platform as I step forward to represent our community.
Why I’m Running for the Green Party
Working as an HR Business Partner in the energy sector has given me a front-row seat to how industries impact both people and the environment. I’ve learned that economic growth and environmental stewardship don’t have to be at odds—we can build a future where both thrive. But we need leaders who are willing to take bold steps to make that vision a reality.
That’s why I’m running for the Green Party. I’m not just talking about change—I’m ready to lead it. It starts by:
Investing in clean energy solutions that create sustainable, meaningful jobs.
Supporting grassroots initiatives that strengthen local businesses and communities.
Making mental health services accessible so that no one has to struggle alone.
Reforming education to prepare future generations to be environmental and social leaders.
