I first learned about climate change in 2006, not from Al Gore or the United Nations, but from a potato farmer in Ireland. He was experiencing rapid changes in the growing systems passed down through generations, struggling to adapt to a climate that had become unrecognizable to his father and grandfather.

Around that time, I became an uncle and made a personal commitment to pivot my legal career toward protecting my nieces’ and nephews’ future from extreme weather events and economic hardship. This journey eventually brought me to the Shuswap as an organic vegetable farmer and father, deepening my dedication to building a safe and sustainable future for all.

Nature Delivered is the farming and food supply business my wife Emily and I created. From our farm in Grindrod, we supply fresh vegetables and fruits to customers across the Thompson-Okanagan region, working alongside roughly 12 other farms in the area. In addition to running our business, I volunteer for organizations including the BC Greens, the Enderby Lions Club, and the Enderby Curling Club. You can hear more about my journey in an interview I was fortunate enough to do with The Voice of the Shuswap (listen here).

The Green Party of Canada is the only party prepared to take on the climate challenge. Under Green leadership, we can build a stronger, fairer society while taking the decisive climate action we so urgently need. I believe that a Green MP can be elected for the Kamloops-Shuswap-Central Rockies riding if we remain committed to this goal and support one another.

If elected, I will ensure that my constituents have a strong voice in Ottawa and will advocate fiercely to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our society are not left behind.
