Raymond Frizzell is a postal worker and father of three. He became active in politics at a young age, serving as a youth delegate, assisting in the political campaigns of multiple Members of Parliament, contributing to policy development with emerging political parties, and eventually running as a candidate in the 2022 Quebec provincial election for Huntingdon.

His family is originally from the Eastern Townships. Raymond studied at Bishop’s University, where he earned a degree in Public History, worked in an archive, and married the love of his life. He later pursued studies in Cabinet Making and Library and Information Science before securing a position with Canada Post. As a postal worker, he has seen firsthand how consecutive governments have consistently undermined workers’ rights, making their protection a top priority for him.

Raymond understands the struggles of the average family—worrying about putting food on the table, paying rent, and covering bills. Having lived through some of the most challenging years in recent memory, he is committed to ensuring that all Canadians have a future they can look forward to.

He acknowledges that Lac-Saint-Louis is situated on the unceded Indigenous lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka/Mohawk Nation.

Tiohtià:ke/Montréal has historically been a gathering place for many First Nations, including the Kanien’kehá:ka of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat, the Abenaki, and the Anishinaabeg. Raymond recognizes and respects the Kanien’kehá:ka as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters of Tiohtià:ke/Montréal.
