Ray Little

Raised on a farm, Ray is a proud graduate of Georgian College, where he earned his Business degree, and later completed an MBA at Royal Roads University. He also holds the academic credentials for professional designations in CMA, CMC, and PMP, though he is not currently an active member of those associations. Simcoe North residents can rely on Ray as a thoughtful and reasoned voice on the critical issues of our time.

Having called Orillia home for 37 years, Ray has raised two children in the region and, after recently remarrying, is now the proud parent of two stepchildren. Over the course of his career, he built and ran his own consulting business for 25 years before stepping into Vice President roles at multinational companies, including Volvo (NovaBus) and BYD, where he spent a total of 15 years. For the past five years, Ray has been leading efforts in decarbonizing the heavy-duty automotive sector at Siemens Canada. Outside of his professional life, Ray is deeply involved in the lives of his elderly parents and adult children. His hobbies include curling, skiing, snowmobiling, home maintenance, and gardening. When he can, he enjoys listening to rock and folk music, following the Scotties and Brier championships, and cheering on the Raptors, Jays, and Oilers.
