Learn MoreA Genuine Commitment to Ecology and Social Justice
I entered politics in 2022 with the Green Party of Quebec to amplify my individual actions and actively contribute to ideological debates and sustainable environmental solutions.
Today, I have chosen the Green Party of Canada, convinced that it is the only party that truly embodies my values of social ecology and environmental protection. I believe this party has the courage and vision needed to transform our society into a fairer, more resilient world that respects all living beings.
A Diverse Background in Service of Engagement
Born in Montreal to a Québécois mother and an immigrant father, I grew up on the South Shore before settling in 2013 in Sainte-Adèle, in the Les Pays-d’en-Haut riding. My unconventional path reflects both my creativity and my deep commitment. I graduated in fashion design from Cégep Marie-Victorin and also studied family micro-agriculture and animal herbalism. For 12 years, I worked in costume design at Cirque du Soleil and managed a touring production company. An artist at heart, I have exhibited my work and am now a tattoo artist, creating unique pieces in my eco-friendly studio.
My engagement extends beyond my profession: I am actively involved in cultural, artistic, and environmental organizations, as well as in the protection of animals and natural heritage. For me, ecology should not be an abstract concept but an integrated reality in every aspect of our lives.
Living My Values Every Day
Since 2017, I have profoundly transformed my lifestyle to reduce my ecological footprint: minimizing waste, lowering my CO₂ consumption, adopting a vegan, organic, and local diet, and achieving food self-sufficiency through my vegetable garden. Even in my tattooing profession, I reflect my commitment by using vegan inks and materials that are petroleum-free, biodegradable, and compostable, while strictly adhering to professional hygiene standards.
I firmly believe that change comes through leading by example and taking concrete action. It is not enough to denounce problems—we must demonstrate that alternatives exist and implement them. This is why I advocate for the greater inclusion of Indigenous communities in the search for and application of solutions to protect biodiversity, as they have exemplified sustainable land management for millennia.
Concrete Solutions for a Viable Future
I am convinced that we have the power to transform our society by uniting to find sustainable solutions. My commitment translates into concrete actions to strengthen community ties and promote mutual aid initiatives that allow individuals to thrive together. Education, especially for young people, is essential to equip them for the challenges ahead and offer them a future where they can fully flourish.
My priorities focus on three major issues:
1. Land Use and Management – Protecting the environment by increasing the number of protected areas, better regulating land use, and curbing urban sprawl into forests.
2. Local Natural Resource Management – Encouraging sustainable agriculture, ensuring responsible forest exploitation, and better regulating mining development to preserve our ecosystems.
3. Improving the Local Economy – Facilitating active and public transportation, including in rural areas, to support local purchasing and strengthen community connections, improving support for self-employed workers and SMEs, and finding sustainable and affordable solutions to the housing crisis. Accessible housing enables citizens to consume more responsibly, buy locally, and maintain a healthier diet.
A Commitment Beyond Elections
For me, the ecological transition cannot wait for an election. Ecology must be a living, daily practice where environmental protection and collective well-being reinforce each other. My commitment goes beyond traditional politics—it is a true societal project where humans and nature coexist in balance, working toward a sustainable and harmonious future.
