MONTREAL – The Green Party of Canada is proud to announce that Olivier Huard will be the party’s candidate in La Pointe-de-l’Île in the upcoming federal election. Like the newly appointed Québec Lieutenant and former Minister of the Environment, Steven Guilbeault, in his climate activism, Olivier shares a history of scaling infrastructure. Unwavering in the fight against the climate crisis, he has shown courage by taking concrete action to defend the environment and his communities.

“Where others cave under pressure, Greens stand firm. Our way of doing politics is by putting our bodies on the line for change and walking the talk,” said Jonathan Pedneault, Co-Leader of the Green Party of Canada. “Olivier embodies this principle perfectly.
