I have an unconventional background. First, I was a real estate broker on the South Shore of Montreal, but it was agriculture that brought me to Mauricie. My last active years were dedicated to financial services. With solid political experience, I served as a municipal councilor in a village in Mauricie before becoming a candidate for the Green Party of Canada in the last two federal elections.

This election is of paramount importance, as we haven’t seen in many years. We are facing an existential crisis, which is also that of climate change. But at the moment, urgency is taking precedence over importance, and that is what concerns me.

Making the ecological transition remains the best option to free ourselves from our dependence on the United States. The energy sobriety projects offer great prospects in terms of employment, reducing the cost of living, and protecting the most vulnerable. For example, we could launch a major national project to insulate buildings, implement public transportation infrastructure using our aluminum and steel, etc. We can multiply renewable energy projects by promoting solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.

First Nations have an important role to play in these promising projects; true reconciliation is necessary.

We are facing significant setbacks. We must maintain the progress we’ve made. We must not give up.

There is an African proverb that says: “To know where you are going, you must know where you come from.” When I learned in the biography of Idola St-Jean (who fought for women’s right to vote in Quebec in 1940) that my maternal grandmother had campaigned alongside her, I understood where my passion for politics comes from.

What It Means
To Vote Green

  • It means putting communities first. Green MPs have the freedom to vote based on local priorities, not party politics. We stand firmly for Canadian communities and values against all threats.

  • It means fighting for economic fairness. Our plan provides cost-of-living relief for working Canadians while protecting jobs and businesses from economic disruptions.

  • It means building lasting prosperity. Our climate strategy creates good jobs and strong communities that can weather future challenges. We plan for generations, not election cycles.
