My involvement in politics, and my decision to run as the Green Party of Canada nominee for Windsor-Tecumseh-Lakeshore, is driven by the desire for representation. Everyone in Canada deserves to be part of the fabric of the nation. All we need to do to participate is vote!

I believe it is our duty, as human beings, to leave the world better than we found it. I have children and grandchildren, and I will do whatever I can to improve things for their futures.

I retired after a lifetime spent pursuing music, writing, and various administrative positions, the latter taken to “keep the lights on.” As an early tech adopter, I worked in the pre-Internet years, running a BBS, writing about new technology, and establishing a monthly computer journal called We Compute.

Since retiring, I’ve enjoyed getting involved with community theatre, writing and editing a dog rescue newsletter, hosting a charitable service in aid of Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières), and last month, I represented the Green Party of Ontario.

If elected, my focus would be on the problems currently facing Canada: the impact of Trump’s threatened international tariffs, along with other long-standing issues. These include the restructuring that has damaged our healthcare services in favor of privatization. If that’s being called ‘successful,’ then how is it that we’ve devolved from universal healthcare to ‘hallway care,’ and now to this year’s ‘chair care,’ with fewer Canadians having a family doctor than ever? The proposed offloading of healthcare to private clinics has not given Canadians much hope for the future.

The Green Party is fighting for a fairer future for all, one that includes protecting our climate, ensuring affordable housing for all, and creating good green jobs.

How do we get there? By voting! Canadians can reach a brighter future by learning what each party has on its agenda and deciding how those objectives can contribute to their community, their homes, and Canada.
Your future is in your hands!

What It Means
To Vote Green

  • It means putting communities first. Green MPs have the freedom to vote based on local priorities, not party politics. We stand firmly for Canadian communities and values against all threats.

  • It means fighting for economic fairness. Our plan provides cost-of-living relief for working Canadians while protecting jobs and businesses from economic disruptions.

  • It means building lasting prosperity. Our climate strategy creates good jobs and strong communities that can weather future challenges. We plan for generations, not election cycles.
